Koridor Utiliti Melaka Sdn Bhd (KUM)

Effective 1 January 2025, the Melaka State Government has mandated the Koridor Utiliti Melaka (KUM) to serve as the first point of entry for utility installation approval applications in the state. The objective is to streamline and coordinate the application process in a more integrated and efficient manner. Additionally, KUM has also been mandated to implement new initiatives such as Open Access, Common Overhead Fiber Pole and Dedicated Utilities Road Crossing.

Ismael Hamdan Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Ismael is a distinguished leader in Malaysia’s telecommunications and infrastructure landscape, bringing over 20 years of experience in strategic leadership, nationwide project execution and high-impact business development. With over two decades in the telecommunications sector, including more than 15 transformative years at Celcom Axiata Berhad, Ismael has led complex, large-scale infrastructure rollouts and forged strong collaborations with regulators, industry partners and key stakeholders. Today, as the Chief Executive Officer of Koridor Utiliti Melaka (KUM), he is driving the organization’s vision to accelerate digital connectivity and infrastructure growth. His proven expertise in navigating regulatory ecosystems, securing strategic investments and delivering on national development objectives positions KUM as a pivotal force in shaping Malaysia’s next-generation infrastructure landscape.
Yeerudy Mohd Hairi Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Yeerudy has more than 18 years of experience in project rollout and operational planning, playing key roles in the National Fiberization and Connectivity Plan (NFCP) and Malaysia’s 5G deployment. He specializes in infrastructure planning, cross-functional team leadership, and multi-stakeholder coordination. His background in IoT integration and complex project execution ensures operational excellence and scalability for KUM’s initiatives.
Ahmad Afiq Azman Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Afiq has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, and financial risk management. His leadership in financial operations for large-scale infrastructure projects has been instrumental in ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency. At KUM, he drives financial strategy, budget optimization, and regulatory compliance to support sustainable growth and maximum return on investment.

With more than 25 years of human resources leadership across the telecommunications, IT, and services sectors, Roszaini brings a wealth of experience in talent management and organizational development.
